Interior design, Fashion design, Jewelry design
are some of the more common fields when it comes to studying design, but
students today have another interesting option, that of Kitchen Design. A
kitchen is one of the most important rooms of the house, and every home
definitely has a kitchen. Earlier there were very fixed options as to the look
and structure of an Indian kitchen. However, with the impact of globalization,
the internet and the exposure available nowadays, kitchens have evolved from
being just a room to a fashion statement. There are multiple styles and types
of kitchens in demand these days. The boom in the housing industry and looking
at the number of residential projects coming up, kitchen design as a career
option is an upcoming and booming field to be in.
The fact that modular furniture and
kitchens are becoming increasingly popular has also boosted the demand for
kitchen designers. An interior designer’s education does consist of a few
aspects of kitchen design, but having a specific education in kitchen design does
boost one’s credibility as well as employability.
Timbor Skillvarsity offers a certified ‘Kitchengineer’
